For your safety, we require that the bitcoin you are purchasing from Coinark Bitcoin ATMs, is using your own wallet address, and not a friend or family members. However, even once you have the bitcoin in your wallet, please be wary of sending bitcoin to anyone else.

WARNING: Do not send bitcoin to someone you have never met in person. There are scammers that try to get you to send them bitcoin, and can impersonate a family member, a friend, or a romantic partner. We ask for your own good that you exercise extra caution if ever asked to send bitcoin, as you would with sending the US dollar from your own bank account to someone you might know. There are scammers who try to use social engineering to get you to send them your bitcoin. Be very careful sending anything.

Yes, there is typically a limit to how much Bitcoin you can buy from a Coinark Bitcoin ATM, usually around $10,000 per transaction. If you are planning on buying more than $5,000 in one purchase, you can call us at
(814) 480-0868 beforehand to assure that your bitcoin purchase will go as quickly as possible. Please note for larger transactions of any purchase of bitcoin it can take a day or two for completion due to regulations, but you will receive your bitcoin so long as everything you provide is correct and for yourself.

Do I need a digital wallet to use a Coinark Bitcoin ATM?

Yes, you will need a digital wallet to store your Bitcoin after purchasing it from a Coinark Bitcoin ATM. You can download a free digital wallet app on your smartphone whether you have an iPhone or Android phone. Learn how in our article on crypto wallets.
You can also have a wallet printed out for you at our ATMs. It will print out a QR Code that you can scan for future purchases. This is only if you don’t have a smartphone, but you must keep this wallet safe and treat it as cash, because if you lose the printed wallet, the Bitcoin is also lost, as you would with cash.

Yes, Coinark Bitcoin ATMs are secure and reliable, with many built-in safety features to protect your transaction and personal information. None of your personal information is stored locally on the machines.

Can I buy other cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin from a Coinark Bitcoin ATMs?

Sometimes, yes! The best way to get a discount on Bitcoin orders is to text “referral” to the business phone number, and see if there is a promo going on for referrals of friends and family. They will then explain if there is a referral program active now.
